S₂O provides a mechanism that incorporates form based authentication with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.  This integrates with an enterprise’s corporate web security to provide web single sign-on.  S₂O is designed to be customized to work directly with corporate LDAP and/or with third party identity management and authentication applications.

S₂O also enhances the seamless integration between Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and Microsoft Office by providing a web single sign-on between SharePoint and Office in the extranet environment.

New Add-on Password Utility
A new password utility works in conjuction with S₂O and allows users to to handle:

• expired passwords
• locked active directory accounts
• invalid passwords
• and invalid user id's.
